HUCKNALL VISIT BORROWASH HOPING TO BE VICTORIOUS

 BORROWASH VICTORIA V HUCKNALL TOWN

UCL DIVISION 1 WEDS SEPT 8TH 2021 19.45 KO

MATCH PREVIEW

Hucknall come up against another side looking for their first league victory after seeing off Bourne Town last Saturday. Hucknall also kept a clean sheet for the first time this season which must have pleased manager Andy Graves.

Borrowash are one of our ex EMCL foes and we have met several times over the years.

Borrowash haven't had the best of starts gaining a single point from 7 games and a -18 goal difference. The draw came at home to fellow strugglers Bourne Town a game which ended 2 2.

Hucknall though have a chance of getting amongst the sides at the top after a lot of Tuesday nights results were very favourable to their cause.

Hucknall will have an injury concern over Michael Banister who will probably be rested. Joe Butler should be available after suffering a dead leg against Gedling and missing Saturdays game. Joe Ashurst made a welcome return on Saturday and may start tonight.

Jake Pearson was also out injured Saturday so Keaton Sharpe who had a decent game Saturday may deputise again,

Hucknall will have to guard against being complacent as no games are easy in this league and Borrowash will be looking for the elusive league victory.

Safe Travels.
